EXPERIENCE THE TRANSFORMATIVE POTENTIAL OF MINDFULNESS

Mindfulness meditation is a type of meditation that involves paying attention to the present moment, without judgment. It can include various practices, such as sitting meditation, sound, body scan, walking, and social meditation practices. In these practices  one focuses on their breath or a mantra; the sounds around you, the sensations of walking, and scanning the body to  ground ourselves. Gail will guide you through these practices whether it be one on one and or group sessions. Groups for adults, specific groups, and children are available.

 
I had the pleasure of joining Gail’s weekly zoom Social Meditation on Peace sessions as part of the Season of Nonviolence last year. I enjoyed it and am attending again now for this year’s Season. I love how Gail creates a space that’s nourishing, fostering a spirit of connection, belonging, and peace. I also appreciate learning a bit of the history of The Season and how it’s designed to alleviate oppression. I find Gail’s weekly sessions are a tonic for the heaviness felt by the news of the day and I look forward to attending each week.
